The Oahe Solar project is being developed in central South Dakota. Once operational, this project will generate 355 megawatts (MW) of clean and renewable electricity. Oahe will make significant contributions to South Dakota’s renewable energy portfolio and will provide job opportunities throughout construction and operations. It will also substantially increase local and state tax revenues. Oahe is located within the Southwestern Power Pool (SPP) transmission system.
