PHILADELPHIA, PA–Doral Renewables LLC (“Doral Renewables”) supports the Energy Plan presented yesterday (Wednesday, March 13, 2024) by Governor Josh Shapiro. The governor’s vision, that includes tapping into renewable energy as a pathway to grid resiliency, jobs creation, economic growth and emissions reduction is the sort of action required to achieve the nation’s and the Commonwealth’s energy transition goals while creating sustainable economic growth.

The Pennsylvania Climate Emissions Reduction (PACER) act and the plans to introduce the new Pennsylvania Reliable Energy Sustainability Standard (PRESS) will help solidify and grow the Commonwealth’s position as a national leader in energy generation, economic development, and jobs creation. Doral Renewables has hundreds of megawatts of renewable energy projects in different stages of development across the Commonwealth.
