The Cold Creek Solar+Storage project is being developed in central Texas. Once operational, this project will generate approximately 430 megawatts of clean, renewable electric power, enough to serve approximately 47,300 households. Cold Creek will have a 340 MWh battery storage component to enhance energy security and reliability. This project will make a significant contribution to the Lone Star State’s renewable energy portfolio and will enable local utilities and industries to harness the clean energy generated and deployed. The Cold Creek Solar+Storage project will be operating in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) transmission system.
