The Cold Creek Solar+Storage project is being developed in central Texas. Once operational, this project will generate approximately 430 megawatts of electric power, enough to serve approximately 66,000 households. Cold Creek will have a 340 MWh battery storage component to enhance energy security and reliability. This project will make a significant contribution to the Lone Star State’s renewable energy portfolio and will enable local utilities and industries to harness the clean energy generated and deployed. The Cold Creek Solar+Storage project will be operating in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) transmission system.
