The Lyonia Solar project is being developed in southern Mississippi. Once operational, it will generate approximately 94 megawatts (MW) of clean and renewable electricity. This project will contribute to the state’s goals of advancing Mississippi’s generation and renewable energy goals, provide job opportunities throughout the Construction and Operation Period, and will generate new tax revenue at the local and state level. Lyonia solar will be operating in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator(MISO) transmission system.
