About Macon County Solar

The Macon County Solar project is locate, as evidenced by its name, in Macon County in northeastern Missouri. Once operational, this project is estimated to generate about 208 MW of clean energy, enough to power approximately 22,000 households. The project territory spreads across 3,500 acres. The project’s area enjoys a significant geographical advantage as it is located primarily on farmland or in open areas, with few wooded areas. The Macon County Solar project will be in the MISO grid system.
