The Woodward Creek Solar+ Storage project is being developed in western Oklahoma. Once operational, it will generate 288 megawatts (MW) of clean and renewable electricity. Woodward Creek will make significant contributions to Oklahoma’s generation and renewable energy goals and will provide job opportunities throughout construction and operations. It will also substantially increase local and state tax revenues. This project will have a battery storage component of approximately 1,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) to enhance energy security and reliability. The Woodward Creek project is located within the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) transmission system.
